Chakradhar Nandan

I live and work at 2-3-707/C/2 in Thirumala Nagar, which is in the Amberpet area of Hyderabad. It’s a residential neighborhood mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads. My name is Chakradhar Nandan and I’ve been in this part of Andhra Pradesh, or Telangana as it is now, for many years. The house is where I handle my business, and it’s a mix of personal life and work stuff all over the place. Hyderabad gets incredibly hot in the summer, so during the middle of the day, I usually keep the curtains drawn to stay cool. I don't have a big staff or a fancy corporate office. It’s just me and occasionally a helper if the work gets too much. People from around Amberpet know where to find me if they need something. I don’t spend money on advertising because word of mouth usually does the trick. My desk is usually covered in notebooks and pens, and there is always a bottle of water nearby. I take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the tasks that come in. It’s a simple life, and the work I do is pretty straightforward. I like being in a place where I can see the kids playing in the street and the neighbors going about their business while I am working. It feels more like a community that way.
