Le Magnus Foundation

We operate out of Flat 203 in Mahesh Apartments. It’s tucked away in the Engineer S Colony in Hyderabad, zip code 500 073. It's a residential area mostly, so it's not like we have a big storefront or anything. We started this foundation because there seemed to be a lot of things that needed doing in the community. Most of our time is spent talking to people or organizing small projects that help out where it's needed. It isn't always glamorous work. Sometimes it’s just sorting through piles of papers or making sure the bills get paid. The apartment gets a bit crowded when we have meetings, but we make it work with extra chairs from the neighbors. Hyderabad is a busy city, and being in the colony gives us a bit of peace to think. We don't have a huge budget, so we have to be careful with every rupee we spend. Everyone here puts in a lot of hours. My brother helps with the logistics because he’s good with maps and numbers. We don’t go out and do big speeches. We just try to fix things that are broken or help folks who have hit a rough patch. It’s a slow process sometimes, and we don’t always see results right away. But we're here every day, trying to do something useful from our little office in Mahesh Apartments and keeping the files in some sort of order.
