We are located at 5-36/24/A along Apiic Road in the Prashanthi Nagar industrial area of Kukatpally. If you walk into the shop, the first thing you’ll notice is the smell of industrial oil and the sound of gears being cut. We specialize in gear wheels, so there are teeth and metal blanks everywhere you look. It’s a dusty environment and the floors are never quite clean no matter how much we sweep. Working with gears requires a lot of patience because if the pitch is off by even a little bit, the whole thing is useless. We spend our days at the machines, adjusting the settings and checking the metal for any flaws. Kukatpally is a busy industrial hub, so there is always a lot of movement on the road outside with trucks coming and going. We have a small crew and most of us have been working together for years now. We know each other's habits and how the machines sound when they’re running right. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch of gears for a client who's in a rush. It’s not easy work and it’s definitely not a clean office job, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a raw piece of metal turn into a working gear. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines to get the work done.
