Sri Siddivinayaka Engineering Works

Being in the EC Complex in Kushaiguda means there is always something going on around us. Our spot is at Plot No 22A, and if you have ever been to this part of town, you know it gets pretty crowded with all the other workshops and small factories. We spend most of our time at Sri Siddivinayaka Engineering Works covered in grease or metal dust. It is loud here because of the machines running, but you get used to it after a few years. My hands are usually stained with oil by ten in the morning, and the coffee we get from the stall down the road is the only thing that keeps us going sometimes. We handle a lot of different repairs and small manufacturing tasks. There isn’t a lot of space for a big lobby, so people usually just walk right into the workspace to tell us what they need fixed. We have a few old lathes and some newer tools, but everything has its place, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. The traffic in Kushaiguda is a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap up our work before the main rush starts. It is just a regular engineering shop where we try to get things right. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on for our families. We don't really have a big team, just a few guys who know their way around an engine.
