Sri Raghu Ram Residence

This place is over in Gowli Guda, very close to the bus depot. If you’ve ever been to this part of Hyderabad, you know it’s a very traditional and busy area. We’ve been living and managing things here at the residence for a long time. It’s a simple building and we put a lot of effort into keeping it running day to day. There’s always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a leaky tap or a door that won’t shut right. We don't have a big team or anything like that, it's just us taking care of the property. The noise from the Gowli Guda bus depot is something you just get used to after a while. It’s part of the rhythm of the place. We don’t do any advertising or have a big sign out front. Most of the people who come here are locals or people who have known us for years. It’s a very practical way of living. We spend our mornings doing chores and our afternoons usually involve just keeping an eye on things. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our life. We’ve seen the streets around here change as the city grew, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We just focus on the basic stuff and make sure the place stays in good shape for everyone who lives or visits here. It’s just about being reliable and doing the work that needs to be done.
