Sri Narayan Enterprises

Sri Narayan Enterprises is right in the middle of things at 4-6-287/88 in Esamia Bazar. If you’ve ever been to the bazar, you know how it is. It’s crowded, it’s noisy, and there is always something happening. Our place is tucked in there amongst all the other shops. We have been here for a while and the address 4-6-287/88 is basically our second home. We spend more time here than anywhere else. The space is filled with whatever we are stocking at the moment, so it can feel a bit cramped, but we know where everything is. You won't find any slick marketing or polished floors here. It’s just a typical bazar shop. We deal with people all day long. Some are regulars who have been coming for years, and others are just passing through the bazar and happen to stop in. The morning starts with opening the shutters and sweeping the front bit of the street. It’s a ritual. Then the tea guy comes around, and the day really begins. Esamia Bazar has a certain energy that you don’t find in the newer parts of the city. It’s old and a bit chaotic, but it works for us. We just handle our business, keep our ledgers updated by hand, and try to make sure we have what people are asking for. It’s not a complicated life. We just take it one customer at a time and keep the shop going.
