Grainmart

If you look for Grainmart, you’ll find us over at Hno 17-81 on Sri Nager Colony Road No 4. The address can be a bit confusing with all the extra descriptions people use, but it’s basically just our spot in the colony. It’s a decent area with a lot of people coming and going. We deal with grains mostly. You’ll see bags of stuff being moved around quite a bit during the week. It’s not a shiny supermarket or anything like that; we keep it very straightforward. Our day starts early because that’s when the grain movement is busiest. The office is small and gets a bit crowded when a few people show up at once to talk about prices or deliveries. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our work is just talking to suppliers and making sure the quality is what it should be. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of numbers in our ledgers. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a delivery van, and the neighbors complain a bit, but we try to be quick and respectful. We like being in Sri Nager Colony. It feels like a real community where people look out for each other. We’ve had the same people working here for a while, and we all know how the system runs. There’s no fancy mission statement on the wall, just a simple calendar and some handwritten notes. We just try to get through the orders.
