Sri Manikanta Automats

We are located at 1-8-27/12 in North Kamalanagar. It’s a bit of a residential area mixed with some small businesses like ours. Sri Manikanta Automats isn't a giant factory, just a small place where we handle automatic machine work and parts. We started this because we had a couple of machines and nowhere else to put them. Now, we’ve been here long enough that all the neighbors know us. The shop is small and can get pretty cramped when we have a lot of material delivered. We have to move things around just to walk sometimes. It’s not a polished corporate office. There’s a desk in the corner with piles of papers and old invoices, but we know where everything is. Most of our days are spent watching the machines and making sure the cuts are right. It’s repetitive work, but you have to pay attention or things go wrong fast. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about the news while we work. The North Kamalanagar area is pretty quiet compared to the big industrial zones, which we like. It makes it easier to focus. We aren't looking to become some huge corporation. We just want to keep the machines running and satisfy the few steady clients we've had for years. It’s a modest life, and we are fine with that. We try to stay on top of the work every single day.
