Our shop is right on the ground floor of Sterling Appt. on Distillery Road. If you know the Ranigunj area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here with all the traffic and people moving about. We’ve been operating out of this space for a long time, selling different kinds of machinery and parts to whoever needs them for their workshops. The walls are lined with shelves that are mostly full of heavy iron bits and tools. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because metal and oil tend to leave a mark, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, someone is sitting at the front desk waiting for a customer to walk in with a broken part or a list of things they need to buy. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the stock updated. Ranigunj is a busy place for this kind of work, and being in Sterling Appt. makes it easy for people to drop by. We see a lot of regular faces, guys who have been running their own small plants for decades. We talk about the weather or the price of materials while we wrap up their orders. It’s just a normal business day for us, starting early and closing up when the sun goes down. There's always some noise from the street outside, but you get used to it after a week or two.
