You can find us at 3-4-308/10 in the Lingmapally area of Kachiguda. Running a flour mill like this means there is always a bit of dust in the air and the constant hum of the machines in the background. It’s a noisy place, but it’s been our workplace for a long time. People around Kachiguda know where we are. We don't spend much time on fancy things. Our focus is just on the rollers and making sure the grain gets processed the way it’s supposed to. Some days are busier than others, especially when a large load comes in. The building itself is just a standard workspace. It isn't new, and it shows some wear from all the heavy machinery running all day. We start quite early in the morning before the sun gets too hot, though the machines keep the place warm anyway. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so we’ve known each other a long time. It feels more like a small community than just a job. We don’t have a big front office or a receptionist. If you come in, you just find whoever isn't busy with a machine at that moment. We deal with the day-to-day work as it comes. Usually, there's a lot of lifting and moving bags around. By the time evening comes, we’re usually pretty tired, but it’s honest work. The street outside can get a bit cramped with vehicles, but that’s just Kachiguda for you.
