Sri Krishna Kripa Creations

We are up on the first floor of Jeevan Apartments in B Block. The address is 4/1/213, Hanuman Tekdi. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it is quieter up here than being right on the street level. We have a few big tables where we spread out the fabric. Being in an apartment building means it doesn't really feel like a regular shop. It feels more like a workspace where we get things done. There are a lot of students and office workers in this area, so we see them walking past the gates all day. Sometimes the power goes out in this block and we just have to sit by the window and wait for it to come back. We look down at the traffic on the road below to pass the time. We handle a lot of different pieces and the floor usually has bits of thread or scraps of cloth on it. We try to sweep it up before we leave at night. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, so you have to look for the sign on our door. Sri Krishna Kripa Creations is just a small operation. We don't have many staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the work. It’s a steady life and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building.
