Sai Hanuma Cottage Industries

Our workshop is at Plot No 46, 24 78/46/C in the IDA Uppal area. Sai Hanuma Cottage Industries is what we call it, though it’s really just a modest place where we get things made. Being in an industrial development area means there is always something going on around us, mostly the sound of machines or trucks loading up. We have a few machines of our own that we use daily. It gets a bit dusty inside sometimes, especially when we are in the middle of a big batch of work. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of workers. It’s a small team, and we all know each other’s names. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor making sure things are coming out right. The office part is just a small corner with a table and some ledgers where we track everything. Uppal is a busy place, and being in the IDA section means we stay focused on the work. Sometimes we lose track of time when we’re trying to finish up a client's order. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to the desk picks it up. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite some time now. We just focus on getting the job done and keeping the machines running. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy enough throughout the whole year.
