Mahek Furnishing

If you find yourself near the Ekminar Masjid X Road in Nampally, you’re right by our place. Mahek Furnishing has been sitting on this corner for quite some time. It’s a lively neighborhood, always people walking by and the sound of the city right outside the door. Inside, we have rolls of fabric and various materials piled up. It’s not the most organized-looking shop, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time helping people pick out what they need for their homes. It’s a lot of measuring and cutting and talking through options. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or try to push people into buying things they don’t want. We just show them what we have and let the way the material feels do the talking. The air in the shop is always a bit dusty from the fabrics, and the old ceiling fans hum all day long. We have a few guys who have been working the machines in the back for years, and they really know their stuff. It’s a family-type atmosphere here, even if we aren't all related. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here, doing the same work we’ve always done. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up the shutters at night. We don't need much more.
