Sri Garments

Our shop is right on the Narayanguda Main Road, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by the front door. Sri Garments is a small family business. We sell mostly everyday wear for women and some kids' clothes. My wife helps me pick out the patterns because she has a better eye for what’s in style these days. We don't follow the big fashion trends too closely, but we try to have colors that people like to wear for college or office. The shop is narrow, so it can get a bit cramped if more than four people are inside at once. We’ve got a small trial room in the back, but it’s really just a curtained-off corner. It’s basic, but it does the job. Most of our customers are students from the nearby colleges or people who live in the apartments around Narayanguda. They like that they can just pop in and find something without having to navigate a huge shopping center. We keep the prices written on small stickers on the tags so there's no confusion. Every now and then, we get some new stock in from the city markets, and that’s when the shop looks its best. We don't have a big sign with lights, just a simple board above the door. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just selling clothes and chatting with the people who live around here. We hope to stay here for many more years.
