Sri Bhavani Engineering & Painting Works

Our workshop is located in Prashanti Nagar over in Kukatpally. We call it Sri Bhavani Engineering & Painting Works. It’s a place where things get fixed and painted. There is usually a lot of noise from the machines and the smell of paint is pretty strong most days. We have a few guys working here who know how to handle the metal and the spray guns. It’s dusty work but someone has to do it. We get all sorts of jobs, from small parts to bigger pieces that take a few days. The floor is usually covered in scraps or wet paint signs. We’ve been in Kukatpally for a while now. It’s a good spot for this kind of engineering work. We don't really do much advertising, people just hear about us and show up with their projects. We try to get things done when we say we will, but sometimes the drying takes longer if the weather is damp. It’s a hands-on kind of life. My hands are usually stained with something at the end of the day. We don’t have a fancy office, just a desk in the corner with a lot of receipts. We just focus on the job at hand. If you need something painted or welded, this is where we do it. It's a simple shop with basic tools and hard-working people. We just keep the machines running. It’s not a clean job, but we like seeing the finished parts leave the yard.
