If you find yourself in Srinivas Puram, Ramantha Pur, you’ll find our little shop at 3-13-1/1/A. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but we’ve been here long enough that most locals know the spot. At Spectra Computer Solutions, we don't have a glossy showroom with neon lights. Instead, our space is filled with old monitors, half-opened CPUs, and boxes of spare parts. It’s a bit messy, honestly, but that’s just how it goes when you’re fixing things all day. People from around the neighborhood bring in their laptops when they won't turn on or if they need a new keyboard. We spend a lot of time soldering or running diagnostic tests while listening to the local radio station. The street outside can get quite dusty, especially when there’s construction nearby, which seems to be always happening lately. We keep a small counter near the front for customers, but most of the work happens on the big wooden benches in the back. It’s just a few of us here. We don't have fancy titles; we just fix what’s broken. Some days are quiet, giving us time to organize the drawers of screws, while other days everyone seems to have a computer crisis at the same time. We just take it one machine at a time and try to keep the dust off the internal fans. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy enough to get through each week and makes the time go by pretty quickly for us.
