Sona Polymers

We are located at Plot No. 31/ D in the Kattedan industrial area. It’s been quite a few years since we started running things here. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular shed where we keep the machines for the polymer work. Most days are pretty much the same. We show up early, get the power turned on, and start the day's production. It gets quite hot inside when the machines have been running for a few hours, especially in the afternoons. Kattedan is a busy place with a lot of trucks moving in and out, so the roads stay dusty. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for a long time. They know their way around the materials. We don't have any fancy reception area or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually just find us near the main door or at the small desk we kept in the corner. The floor is often covered in little scraps from the process. We just sweep it up at the end of the shift. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on the main road, but we manage. It’s just a basic operation where we focus on getting the plastic products out. We’ve had the same neighbors for a decade. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but that is how IDA life is. We just keep our heads down and do our work.
