Nandini Plastics

Nandini Plastics is tucked away at H No 30 163 in Pandu Basti, Sai Baba Nagar. We’re part of the Ida Jeedimetla industrial zone, which is a very busy place to be. Inside our shop, there’s usually the sound of plastic being processed and the heat from the molding machines. It can get quite hot in here, especially during the middle of the day, so we have some big fans running all the time. There are bags of plastic granules piled up in the corners and finished products waiting to be moved out. Sai Baba Nagar is a tight-knit area, and we know many of the other business owners nearby. We don’t really have a sales team or a fancy showroom. We just focus on the production side of things and make sure the machines are running properly. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it, which is frustrating, but it’s just part of the job. The floors are often covered in little bits of plastic scrap that we have to sweep up constantly. We take our tea breaks outside to get some air because it gets so stuffy inside with the smell of warm plastic. It’s a simple, hardworking environment where we just try to get the daily production numbers met without too much trouble.
