Chetan Plastic Industries

We are located right at 6-4-63/1 in Kattedan, just a stone's throw from the Shivrampally Railway Station. Being in the Rajendranagar area means there's always something happening around us. Chetan Plastic Industries is where we spend our days. The smell of plastic and the sound of the molding machines are just part of the background for us. It’s a practical space. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and a few clipboards with orders on them. We make various plastic items that people use every day but don't think much about. The workshop is organized but messy in that way that shows we’re actually working. We have a couple of big machines that take up most of the room. When they're running, you have to shout a bit to be heard. I started this after working for someone else in the same line. Now, I have a few employees who help out. We drink a lot of water because it gets warm inside with the machines running. We aren't a big factory, just a local spot doing our part. The neighbors are all industrial shops too, so we all know each other. It’s a tight-knit community here in Kattedan. We just focus on the work at hand and try to stay on schedule. My son helps with the inventory on weekends. It's a small family-run feel even if we're in a big industrial zone.
