You can find us at 6-3-666/B, inside the Deccan Chambers building. This is where Deccan Cements Ltd. has its main office. The building name is easy enough to remember. It’s an older style of building, the kind with thick walls and a bit of history to it. We don't have those modern open-plan offices you see on TV. Instead, it’s a lot of separate rooms and hallways. It can be a bit like a maze if you are visiting for the first time. We spend our days dealing with orders and talking to people on the phone. It’s a lot of coordination. The desks are covered in papers and ledgers because there is always something to keep track of. We aren't big on fancy technology if the old ways still work fine. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we all know how the others take their coffee. There is a lot of back and forth between the different departments. Sometimes the fans squeak a little, but nobody really minds. It’s just a comfortable, worn-in place to work. We are right in the heart of the area, so there is always noise from the street outside. It feels like a real part of the city.
