Sneha Fashions

Sneha Fashions is located right in the Golconda Apartments at Humayun Nagar. It is unit 10-4-41/A/7. Being in an apartment complex like this in Hyderabad makes the shop feel more like a part of the neighborhood than a regular store. We know many of the people who live in the building because they walk past us every day to get to their flats. Sometimes they just pop in to say hello or see if we have anything new that arrived that morning. The space is not very big, so we have to be smart about how we hang the clothes. There are shelves all the way to the ceiling, and we keep a small stool handy so we can reach the items at the very top. Humayun Nagar can be quite busy and noisy with the traffic outside, but inside the shop, it stays relatively quiet. We do our own accounts in a notebook at the small desk near the door. If someone asks for a specific color we don't have, we try to remember to look for it the next time we go to the main market. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just Sneha Fashions, a place where we work and talk to our neighbors. Lunch usually happens right here at the counter, and we take turns so someone is always there. It’s a basic life, but we like it this way.
