Being in the middle of Abids means there is never a quiet moment outside. We are right next to the SBH on Chappel Road in the Gun Foundry area. It’s a place with a lot of history and old buildings all around us. The little ones arrive early, and the noise level definitely goes up once they get into the classrooms. We don’t have a massive campus, but it works for what we do with the pre-primary kids. The traffic on the road can be a headache sometimes, especially during peak hours when everyone is trying to get to work or drop their kids off. Most of the parents are locals who work nearby or live in the surrounding streets. We’ve got a handful of staff who have been with us since the beginning. We spend our time teaching the alphabet, playing games, and making sure everyone gets their snacks on time. The building is older, so it has that lived-in feel which is nice for the children. They don't seem to mind the city sounds at all. Sometimes we go out for a short walk if the weather isn't too hot, but mostly we stay inside where it’s safe and organized. It’s a basic setup, no big frills, just a place where kids can spend their morning hours while their parents are busy. We see a lot of familiar faces at the gate every day, and that makes it feel like we belong in this neighborhood.
