Shreenidhi Food Products

Shreenidhi Food Products is situated at 6-3-10/2 in Balanagar. We are right behind the Vimal Theater, which is a place most people around here know very well. When there is a popular movie showing, the whole street gets very crowded and noisy. We make various food items here, mostly snacks and local products. The air around our building usually smells like whatever we are cooking that day, whether it’s spices or toasted grains. It is a small operation, not like those big factories you see on the news. We have a handful of people from the neighborhood who come in to help with the preparation and the packaging. My day starts very early so we can get the cooking done before the midday heat becomes too much. We spend a lot of time bagging the products and boxing them up for delivery to the shops. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment and ingredients stored everywhere. We don't have a formal reception area or anything. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just come to the side door. We’ve been behind the theater for years and have built a steady little business just by making things people like to eat. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and we like being part of the Balanagar community. We are just local people making food that we know our neighbors will enjoy.
