Shrdha Fashions

Shrdha Fashions is located in Engineers Colony, right beside the Hanuman Temple in Yellareddy Guda. We have a very small shop, but it is always full of color from the fabrics we keep. You can hear the temple bells ringing throughout the day, which is a nice sound to work to. Most of our customers are women from the colony who come in to get their suits stitched or to find a matching dupatta. We spend a lot of time sitting on the floor or at the small table, cutting cloth and marking measurements with chalk. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the main roads, which makes it a pleasant place to spend the day. We have a couple of sewing machines going almost all the time, so there is always a bit of a hum in the background. Sometimes we get so busy with orders that the fabric piles up on every available surface and it's hard to find a place to sit. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the shop number 8-3-675/1, but people find us easily enough because of the temple next door. It is a family-run kind of thing, and we just try to get the stitching just right. We don't talk much about fashion trends; we just focus on making sure the clothes fit well and the person wearing them feels comfortable when they walk out the door. We have been in this spot for years.
