Shimko Bio Sciences Private Limited is tucked away in Andhra Basthi, over in Kompally. Our place is # 05-110, right in the lane opposite the post office. It’s a handy landmark because everyone knows where the post office is. We do a lot of technical work involving bio sciences, which means our days are filled with looking at samples and keeping things clean. It’s not the kind of job where you get your hands dirty with soil, but it’s still hard work in a different way. The lane can get a bit narrow when there are too many bikes parked outside, but we make it work. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the locals are used to us being here. We don’t have a big front desk or a receptionist, usually just whoever is closest to the door answers it. The work we do requires a lot of focus, so it’s often quiet inside despite the noise from the main road. We handle a lot of different projects, some small and some a bit more involved. It’s just a group of us trying to figure out the science stuff and keep the lab running. We don't bother with fancy slogans or big promises. We just come in, do the testing or the research, and go home. That’s the daily life at Shimko in Kompally. It is a simple place where we just focus on the task at hand.
