Shiba Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineers

Our shop is over in Kushal Towers, Shop Number 15, right beside Shadan College in Khairatabad. It’s a busy spot with students and traffic all day long. Shiba Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineers is a small place, mostly filled with toolboxes, copper pipes, and spare parts for various cooling units. We aren’t in the shop much because we are usually out at someone’s house or office fixing an AC that stopped working in the middle of a heatwave. When we are at the shop, we’re usually cleaning filters or testing a compressor that we brought back for repair. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and our clothes usually end up with some oil stains or dust. Khairatabad gets really hot, so people are always calling us when their fridge starts making a weird noise or the cooling drops. We carry our ladders and gas cylinders in the back of the van and navigate the city traffic every day. Sometimes a repair is easy and sometimes we’re stuck for hours trying to find a tiny leak in a coil. We don't have a big secretary or a lobby. You just call us or drop by the shop if we’re there. It’s a practical business. We just focus on getting the machines running again so people can stay cool. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we’ve seen just about every brand and model there is. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
