Sheela Gollapally

Sheela Gollapally is the name, and we are located at H No 4-2-702. This is in Shamsheerbagh, which is part of the Ramkote and Koti area, right near Abids in Hyderabad. If you know the city, you know this is the old heart of it. It’s incredibly crowded and there is always something happening on the streets. Our place is in one of those narrow lanes that has been around for decades. It’s got a lot of character, even if it’s a bit cramped sometimes. We work out of this house-turned-office. It’s not fancy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the stairs are a bit steep. But it’s where we are. Being in Abids means we are close to everything, which is a big plus. The sounds of the market and the traffic are constant, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us handling the daily chores. People come by because they know the area well. It’s a very traditional part of Hyderabad. We just go about our business without much fuss. It's a practical spot for what we do, and we like being in such a central part of the town. Even when it rains and the lanes get a bit messy, we are here. It’s just how life is in Ramkote. We have our files and our coffee and that is enough to keep us going through the week.
