About Annapurna Foods – Food & Beverages in Hyderabad
Our facility is located at D 2, Phase I in the Shapurnagar area of Ida Jeedimetla. At Annapurna Foods, things get started pretty early in the morning. The smells of whatever we are processing that day usually fill the air by seven o'clock. It is an industrial unit, so it is built for work, not for looks. We have big stainless steel vats and packing tables that take up most of the room. We spend a lot of time cleaning everything down because that is just the nature of working with food products. The floors are often wet from the wash-downs. We have a small team of workers who come in from the nearby colonies. The trucks come in and out through the narrow gates, and it takes some skill to navigate them without hitting the walls. We don't have any fancy signs out front, just the name on the gate. Sometimes we have a lot of orders and everyone has to stay late to finish packing the bags. Other days are a bit quieter, and we catch up on maintenance or paperwork. It gets quite loud when the packing machines are running, so we have to shout a bit to be heard. We focus on getting the food packed and sent out to the shops. It’s a simple business without any big corporate layers. We just make sure the quality is okay and move on to the next batch.
