Shankar Packagings Ltd. has its office at 508, Maheshwari Chambers in the Somajiguda area of Hyderabad. We’ve been in the packaging business for quite a few years now. Our space is tucked away in a busy building, and it’s usually filled with the sound of phones ringing and people talking about bag sizes and shipping dates. We don’t do anything flashy. Packaging is one of those things people don’t think about until they need it, but we think about it all day long. We deal with bulk bags and other industrial stuff that keeps products safe while they travel. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The office isn't decorated with anything special, just maps and charts and maybe a few samples of the materials we use. We’ve seen Hyderabad grow a lot from our window in Somajiguda. Some of our staff have been with us since the start, and they’ve seen how the industry has shifted towards different materials. We don’t use corporate slogans here. We just try to make sure the orders are correct and they get out on time. Sometimes there are hiccups with the manufacturing or the transport, and we just deal with them as they come. It’s a straightforward business run by people who just want to do their work and go home to their families at the end of the day. We are just a local team doing our daily bit here.
