We are over at 30/A in the Technoorat Industrial Estate in Balanagar. M/S.Carboline Toolings India Pvt. Ltd. is just one of many units in this estate. It is an industrial zone, so it is all about machines and tools. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal scraps or oil, and that is just normal for us. We don't have a polished showroom. When people come to see us at 30/A, they see the actual work happening. It is noisy and sometimes it gets a bit messy, but that is how toolings are made. Balanagar is a busy hub for this kind of stuff. We have our small office tucked into a corner so we can hear the phone over the machines. The Technoorat Industrial Estate has its own rhythm with trucks coming in and out all day long. We have been here for a good stretch of time and know the other shop owners nearby. We just focus on getting the toolings right and keeping the machines running. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know. We don't have any big missions or goals other than finishing the work on time and keeping the shop running. It is just a group of people doing a job in a dusty industrial estate. That is the whole story of our daily life here, among the sounds of metal hitting metal.
