Asian Barrels Pvt Ltd is located out at Plot No-97 in the Ida area of Kattedan. It’s an industrial spot, so there are always trucks coming and going. The yard is usually full of barrels of different sizes, and it can get quite dusty when the wind picks up. We spend a lot of our time out there checking on the stock or in the small office area where we keep the ledgers. Kattedan is a long way from the main city, so it’s a bit of a drive every morning, but it is where all the work happens. The sun hits the metal roofs pretty hard in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside, but we have some fans going to keep it bearable for the guys. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It’s just about getting the barrels moved, cleaned, or whatever else needs doing for the day. There are other units all around us, so there is always the sound of machinery or loading in the background. We have a small crew who has been with us for a while, and we all just get on with the tasks at hand. It’s a practical setup, nothing like those fancy offices you see in the central business districts. We deal with the grime and the heavy lifting because that’s the nature of the business we are in. Most days we are just tired but we get it done.
