Seethalakshmi Foods Private Limited is our little company located at 6-2-990-1 in Ram Nagar. It’s an old neighborhood, and we like it that way because it feels like home. We aren't a big factory with hundreds of people. It’s more of a family-run feel here every day. We’ve been at this address for a good amount of time now. Most of the people who work here live within walking distance, which is nice. We handle different kinds of food products throughout the year depending on what is available. Ram Nagar has a lot of small shops and narrow streets, so we fit right in. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby for visitors. You just walk in and see us working at the tables. Sometimes it’s a bit disorganized with boxes and bags everywhere, but we know where everything is kept. We don't spend time writing mission statements or any of that corporate stuff. We just make sure the orders are ready on time for the trucks. The building is a bit older, so we are always fixing a leaky pipe or painting a wall. It’s a lot of work to keep a small food business going in this economy. We have some regulars who stop by just to say hello and see how we are doing. It makes the day go faster. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just do the work and go home.
