Sathvikaa Herbals Private Limited is based out of Door No. 107 in the Ayyasamy Nagar Colony. It’s a quiet little spot and we like the peace it gives us. We’ve been working with different herbs for quite a while now. It started out as just a small interest for a couple of us and then we eventually turned it into this business. We aren't a huge factory with hundreds of workers or anything like that. We mostly just focus on the plants themselves and making sure everything is handled the right way. The colony is a nice place to have an office because everyone knows each other and says hello. You won't find any shiny signs or big advertisements around our building. We just have our own space where we sort the herbs and get them packaged up for whoever needs them. Dealing with herbals takes a lot of patience. You have to wait for the right time to pick them and then dry them out properly. We spend a lot of time just sitting and checking on the quality of what comes in from the growers. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We drink a lot of tea and talk through the day's tasks. It can be repetitive work, but it feels good to work with things that come from the earth. Sometimes deliveries are late or the weather isn't helping us much, but we just keep moving along and doing what we can.
