Sataiah Kgs

Sataiah Kgs is located right in the middle of Talla Basti Kavadiguda. It is a quiet enough spot most days, tucked away at H.No. 1-3-176/99. People around here know us well because we have been in Hyderabad for a long time. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a counter and plenty of shelves filled with the things families need every day. We spend a lot of time sorting through stock and making sure we haven't run out of the basics like sugar or matches. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow lanes around Kavadiguda, but they always make it eventually. When it rains, we have to move some of the displays back so they don't get damp. It is mostly just about keeping things organized and helping whoever walks through the door. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean the jars or rearrange the packets of biscuits. We don't have a big staff, just local people working together to keep the place running. It is nice seeing the kids grow up in the neighborhood, coming in first with their parents and then later on their own. The address is easy to find once you are in the right part of the basti. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There is always a lot of dust from the road, so wiping down the counter is a constant job. It is a simple life for us.
