Having the Lotus Pond nearby is actually quite nice, though we don't always get the time to go for a walk there. The office is in an apartment complex, so it feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters. It’s a holding company, so our day-to-day involves a lot of managing different interests and keeping track of various bits and pieces. There are usually three or four of us in the flat at any given time. We have the usual office equipment, and the dining table often doubles as a meeting space when things get busy. The parking in Huda Heights can be a bit tight, especially in the afternoons. We’ve got a view of some other buildings and a bit of greenery if you look out the right window. We don't have a big staff or a fancy reception area. If someone knocks, one of us just goes to the door. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on our laptops or on the phone. Road No 12 is a busy stretch, so there’s always a hum of activity outside. We just keep our heads down and handle the business side of things without much fuss or bother. That’s our routine and we are used to the rhythm.
