You can find us at Flat No. 301 in Kamala Apartments. It’s part of the Shyamlal Buildings area in Begumpet. Begumpet is an old part of town, very busy and always full of life. Being in an apartment building makes the office feel more like a home. We’ve been in this flat for a while now. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is being slow, but we don't mind. We do project work here. It involves a lot of sitting around the table looking at blueprints and talking on the phone. It’s not a large space, but it fits our desks and the few of us who work here. The Shyamlal area has a lot of history. Sometimes it gets noisy outside with the traffic, but inside it's usually calm. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you knock, one of us will just come to the door. We keep things pretty simple. There’s always a lot of paper everywhere, mostly drawings and schedules. We take our work seriously but we don't act like we're better than anyone. We’re just local people doing our bit. Begumpet is a good place to be because it's right in the middle of everything. It's easy to get to different sites from here. We stay busy through the week. Most days end quite late. We just try to get the work done right without making a fuss about it.
