Fusion Export Group

Fusion Export Group operates out of Santosh Nagar Colony. It’s more of a home-style office than a big corporate building. We deal with a lot of paperwork and boxes every day. The colony is usually quiet, which is nice because we have to focus on the shipping details and the lists. There are just a few of us working here. We have a couple of computers and a printer that jams way more often than it should. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and people at the docks. It’s not always exciting work. A lot of it is just making sure the numbers match up and the labels are put on the right side of the crates. We have tea together in the afternoon when the sun hits the front porch. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing cricket outside, so we have to watch out for the windows. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one by the door. Most people who come here already know the way through the colony lanes. It’s a practical setup for us. We don't need a lot of space, just enough to keep the records straight and the boxes moving out. Dealing with exports means we have to stay late sometimes because of the time differences across the world, but we just take a longer break the next morning. It’s just a small group of us trying to get things sent where they need to go today.
