Sandj Foods

Our small business, Sandj Foods, is located at 55/79-8 in the Arvind Nagar Colony. It’s right in the Toli Chowki area which is always buzzing with activity and traffic. We chose this spot because it’s easy for the delivery boys to find us. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular brick place with a sturdy door. Inside, we’ve set up the tables and the stoves so we can work efficiently. We mostly spend our time prepping ingredients and packing orders for people. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the smells if we’re frying something strong, but we try to keep the exhaust fans running all the time. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My cousin handles the orders and I look after the kitchen side. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one near the gate. We’ve had some trouble with the plumbing lately but we finally got it fixed last week. That’s the kind of stuff you deal with when you’re running a small place like this. We aren't looking to become a giant company. We just like making good food that people in the colony enjoy eating. It’s a lot of standing up all day and my back usually hurts by five o’clock. But we get the work done and the customers seem happy enough. We don't use any complicated software, just a simple notebook for the accounts.
