Sai Ram Ice

Our place is called Sai Ram Ice and we are located in our own building over at Hanuman Tekdi in the Abid area. It is right near the Bank of Maharashtra, so it is a landmark most people know around here. We handle a lot of ice. The machines run pretty much all the time to keep up with what people need. It gets loud in the building sometimes with the cooling units going constantly. We’ve been here at this spot for years. Dealing with ice is straightforward work but it keeps us on our toes because you can’t let things melt in this heat. The neighborhood is usually busy, especially near the bank, so there are always people moving around. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays frozen and the orders go out correctly. It’s a practical business. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. The building itself is sturdy and serves its purpose well. Sometimes the power acts up, but we have backups to keep the ice solid. If you come by Hanuman Tekdi, you can't miss the Sai Ram Ice Building. We are usually there from early morning until late evening. It's a lot of manual labor, lifting blocks and moving crates, but it's what we do. We just keep our heads down and work. We see the same delivery drivers every day. It's a routine that works for us, even if it is a bit chilly inside the unit.
