Sai Garments

Sai Garments is located right on Chatrinaka road. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of small shops and houses mixed together. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while. It’s a simple setup with a glass front and some racks for the clothes. We mostly carry things that people around here need for their daily lives—nothing too extravagant. Most days involve a lot of dusting because the road outside is quite busy and the dirt just drifts in. We have a couple of chairs for customers to sit on if they’re waiting for someone else to try something on. The lighting isn't the best, but it works for what we do. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background to pass the time when it’s quiet. We don't have a website or any of that, we just rely on people seeing the shop when they walk by. It’s a small team, usually just two of us here making sure things don't get too messy. People like to haggle a bit, which is normal for Hyderabad. We try to be fair and just get through the day. Sometimes we get new shipments that take all afternoon to sort through and tag. It’s a basic life, but we like being part of the Chatrinaka neighborhood. It feels like home after all these years of working behind the counter and meeting so many people.
