About Sadguru Fashion Designers – Fashion & Trends in Hyderabad
We have been here at house number 582 for a while now. It’s right near road number two and three in KPHB Colony. The shop isn't fancy, just some sewing machines and rolls of cloth piled up in the corners. We spend most of our time sitting and cutting fabric or fixing zippers that got stuck. People from the colony come in with pictures on their phones showing what they want, and we try to get it right. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait or use the old manual pedals. It gets pretty busy around festival times, and the floor is usually covered in little threads and scraps of silk. My hands usually have some chalk marks on them by the afternoon. We don’t have a big front window, just a door that stays open to let the air in. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We just do the work as it comes in, trying to keep the stitching straight. It’s not a big factory or anything, just a few of us working together every day. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the road. That’s basically how it goes here. We keep the shop open until late most evenings because that is when people are home from work and can stop by for their fittings and pick up their clothes. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us going.
