S S Tailors is located in Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, over in the Jagathgiri Gutta area. We’ve been at this H No 39-102 spot for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of Rangareddy Nagar and there is always people moving about outside. The shop isn't very large, but we have enough space for our sewing machines and the main cutting table. There’s usually a lot of fabric scraps on the floor by the end of the day. We do a lot of repairs and stitching for the people living nearby in Medchal District. It can get pretty loud with the machines running all at once, especially when we have a lot of orders to get through before the weekend. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. It's just a workshop where we sit and work. The light isn't always the best in the evenings, but we make do with what we have. People come in with their clothes, tell us what they need, and we write it down in a big ledger. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but the shop stays pretty much the same. Sometimes customers bring us tea while they wait for a quick fix. It’s a simple life, just measuring and cutting and sewing. We try to keep things organized, but when it’s wedding season, things get a bit crowded with all the dresses and fabrics. We just keep our heads down and keep the needles moving.
