Our place is at Plot No 59 in Phase-2 of the Svcie area in Balangar. If you know the industrial zone, it's not hard to find us. It gets quite noisy around here with all the factories nearby. We spend our days making biscuits. The ovens are usually running and it gets quite warm inside, especially during the summer months. There is always a lot of flour in the air and the floor needs sweeping every few hours. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just focus on getting the baking right. The workers come in shifts and there is a lot of back and forth with the delivery trucks at the gate. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a belt or a motor. It’s just part of the routine. We eat our lunch together in the small break area. It’s not a corporate environment with ties and suits. Most of us wear aprons or work clothes that get dusty pretty fast. The smell of baking dough is everywhere, which is nice, but after eight hours you don't even notice it anymore. We keep our logs on paper mostly and try to stay on top of the orders coming in from the local shops. It’s just a regular biscuit factory in Balangar doing what we know how to do.
