About Roxy Flour Mills – Food & Beverages in Hyderabad
Roxy Flour Mills is based out in Ida Phase-3, over in the Jeedimetla area. We are located at plots 58 and 59. It is a pretty large space because we need the room for all the milling equipment and the storage for the grain. Jeedimetla is a big industrial zone, so we are surrounded by all kinds of other factories and warehouses. It’s a busy place to be. We spend our days making sure the flour comes out the way it should. There are always people moving around, loading sacks onto trucks or checking the machinery. It can get pretty noisy and dusty inside the mill, which is just the nature of this kind of work. We don't really have time for anything fancy. Most of our focus is just on the daily grind, literally. We've been here for a good number of years and have seen the phase-3 area grow a lot. The roads get quite crowded with lorries, especially during the harvest seasons when more grain is coming in. Our office is just a small room at the front where we handle the paperwork and talk to the drivers. We don't use any big words or have complex systems. We just know how to run a mill and that's what we do from Monday to Saturday. It's hard work and the days are long, but it feels good to see the finished product going out to the local shops. We just try to stay consistent and keep the machines running without too much fuss.
