Roots Montessori School

Roots Montessori School is situated on Road No 46 in Jubilee Hills, right across from the Ambedkar Open University. It’s a decent spot because it’s a bit tucked away from the heaviest traffic, though it still gets busy during pick-up hours. The school is set up for younger children, so everything is a bit smaller than what you would find in a regular high school. We have those specific Montessori materials spread out in the rooms, and the kids spend their time moving from one task to another. It’s not like a traditional classroom where everyone sits in rows. The staff is mostly busy watching over the little ones and making sure they don’t wander off. We have a small outdoor area where they can play when it isn't too hot outside. The building itself is straightforward, with a few rooms dedicated to different age groups. We spend a lot of time cleaning up small spills and putting wooden blocks back on the shelves. Being in Jubilee Hills, we get a lot of local families from the neighborhood coming by. It’s a quiet routine for the most part, except for when the kids are all outside at once. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us teachers and the help making sure the day goes by without too much trouble. Sometimes we run out of art supplies or have to fix a leaky tap in the small bathroom.
