We are up on the third floor, Flat 301, in Sree Sadan Apartments. The "riverview" part of the name is a bit of a stretch because you can't really see much water from here, just other buildings and the tops of some trees. We’re in Hyderabad, zip code 500018. The apartment is mostly filled with computers and extra monitors we’ve picked up over the months. Riverviewsolutions is just a small group of us working on various projects. We do a bit of everything—some coding, some data stuff, some support. It’s a relaxed place. We don't wear ties. Usually, someone has the radio on in the background, playing some old hits. The balcony is where we go when we need a break from the screens. It’s a bit dusty, but it’s nice to get some air. We’ve had a few leaks in the ceiling when the monsoon hits hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep working. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby or a polished image. We just want to do the work well enough that the clients come back. Most of our day is spent typing and drinking tea. It’s not a glamorous life, but it pays the bills and we get along okay.
