You can find us over at 109A-1 in the LIC Colony. We are right opposite Indira Park, near the Lower Tank Bund area. Being so close to the park is nice, though we spend most of our time inside the mill. Revathi Par Boiled Rice Mills Pvt. Ltd. is where we process a lot of rice every day. The parboiling process involves a lot of steam and heat, so it gets pretty humid inside the building. We’ve got big vats and dryers that run almost constantly. It’s a noisy place and you have to shout a bit to be heard over the machinery. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with missions or visions. We just focus on getting the rice boiled and dried so it can be bagged up and sent out. The traffic around the Lower Tank Bund can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the morning. There are sacks of rice stacked up to the ceiling in some parts of the warehouse. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sweating, but that’s just how it is in this business. We have a small crew and we all know our jobs. It’s a local operation and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. People around LIC Colony know us well by now and we just keep on working.
