Ramrajesh Gajula

I am Ramrajesh Gajula and I have been operating out of this space near the Hyderabad GPO for quite some time now. Being in the heart of Hyderabad 500001 means there is never a dull moment when you look out the window. You see the postmen coming and going with their heavy bags and the traffic just never seems to stop during the daylight hours. My workplace is pretty basic, just a desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and stacks of papers that I manage to get through eventually. I usually arrive early before the sun gets too hot, and I start my day by checking what needs to get done. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down, and the smell of the brewing tea often drifts in here, which is nice. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just open the doors wider and keep working with the natural light. It is a very lived-in space with some old maps on the walls and a floor that needs a good sweep every couple of hours because of the dust from the street. People who come to see me are usually from around here, so we end up talking about local things while we handle business. It is not a flashy setup, just a practical one that fits the way I like to work. I prefer it this way without any unnecessary noise.
