Rafi & Company

Rafi & Company is located right in the middle of General Bazaar. If you know Kalasiguda, you know how crowded it gets around here. Our place is at 79/4-9, and it’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We’ve got stuff piled up in corners because there’s never enough room for everything. It’s loud outside from morning until late at night with all the vendors and people walking by. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything. Most people who come here have been doing business with us for years, so they know where the door is. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the day. Some days are just constant phone calls and writing things down in ledgers. We still use paper for a lot of stuff because it just works better for us. My uncle started this a long time ago, and we just kept it going. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather is hot and the fans aren't doing much. We just keep at it though. There isn't some big secret to how we run things. We just try to be fair and get through the list of tasks we have for the day. Sometimes we close a bit early if it’s slow, but usually, we’re here until the bazaar starts to quiet down. It’s just how life is in this part of town. We’re used to the noise and the rush.
