Our office is tucked away in Durga Nagar Colony at No. 6-668/10/6, over in the Punjagutta area. Dealing with cement means things can get a little messy, even in an office setting. There is always a bit of grey dust that seems to find its way onto the ledges and desks no matter how much we clean. Punjagutta is a very busy part of the city, so getting in and out can be a bit of a headache during the rush hour. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with trucks and making sure the bags are going where they are supposed to go. It is a lot of logistical work, and the phone doesn't seem to stop ringing some days. The office is a basic one, with just enough room for our desks and a few chairs for visitors. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls or anything like that. We just focus on the cement and the numbers. It is hard work and the days are often long, especially when there are delays at the warehouse. We’ve been based here in Durga Nagar for some time now, and we’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It is a practical spot for us to be, right in the middle of everything where we can keep an eye on things.
